  1. what a bad question you will start these english people off on how bad your lot is and you wont like your answers

  2. I'm Australian and I love the English.

Whenever I'm lonely one of my English mates gets a Virgin Airlines mega deal out here for some cheering up.

    I've never had any trouble.

  3. The English are some of the world's biggest trouble makers.Boozing, farting, spitting and violence are beloved of the English race. They have always been like that, right through history. If we don't hate foreigners, than we will find another English city to hate,or someone from another street or our neighbour.l do enjoy living in England, but facts are facts.25% illiteracy (highest in Europe) largest prison population in Europe and younger people becoming more violent. It's getting too much out of control

  4. That's a bit unfair.

The English culture are probably no different from that of your own.

  6. why have i got you as a blocked user? methinks you aren't very new!!

  7. causeing?

  8. You're generalising there... we're not all like that. Some of us have that little ounce of decency in us. We go out and work or go to school, we go out and do our little bit for society, but as it is not all of us are like that which brings us around to your view.

  9. They can't handle their drink!  ok.....Visit any city or town at the weekend and see for yourself.

  10. boring............................

  11. Wow, that is an incredibly incredibly ignorant statement and I'm pretty sure you just said it to get a rise out of people. Either way you are a total moron and have a negative impact on society.

  12. I'm a USAmerican wise enough to know the Brits rock.

  13. Why do all Black people come here and stab our young men, supply drugs, and hang around in murdering gangs???

Not one of those Black people??? Well I'm not one of those English people either. It's not nice, or intelligent to categorise. It takes all sorts of people to make up a nation, not just the troublemakers!!!

  14. You are right we are and so are the scottish.Hmm is that a scottish flag i see on your avatar to the left ? I went to scotland to see my aunty and uncle in glasgow when i was 16 and ive never heard so many foul mouthed people in my life

  15. Have you ever been to Winson green, Birmingham, on a Saturday night. If you had I think you would rephrase this question.

  16. Are you from Cyprus? We aren't all drunken yobs. As for causing trouble, have you been to Georgia recently?

  17. they cause trouble because they are all drunks.

  18. sado!

  19. THATS TAKING STEREOTYPING TO THE NEXT LEVEL! I think you will find not "all" english ppl are like that at all!

  20. Think that's a bit of a generalisation. Yes there are elements of that in English culture but I'm certain it doesn't differ too much from most other countries in the world.

  21. I don't think that the poster is good at spelling because they are drunk!

  22. All English people.... WTF

  23. We're not all yobs and that is a terrible thing to say! There are a very small number of revolting yobbish english people just as there are in other nations! I don't know where you're from but i'll take a bet that not everyone in your country is nice!

  24. The only drunk yob here is you. Only 1% are drunk unlike your country where its 97%.!

  25. Dear Poofy K Unt,

I didn't want to dignify your question with a reply - at first - but I couldn't resist saying something.

OK, we Brits like to drink alcoholic drinks.  It's a very old tradition in our country and there's lots of evidence that drinking too much and getting drunk has been a regular feature of British social life for at least 200 years.  I remember living near Summer Lane, Birmingham in the mid-1950's and commenting to someone on the number of 'public houses' (what we call bars) in the street - pretty much one on every street corner.  I was told that at one time (late 19thC/early 20thC) so many people wanted to drink that it was good business for brewers - and it was a regular sight to see people sleeping in the street, too drunk to make their way home.  Women would meet their husbands as they left their work places in order to get  as much of their wages from them as possible before they went to the 'pub' to drink their wages away.  Pawnshops did a roaring trade, taking in goods on Monday in exchange for a loan that would buy food for a week, to be redeemed out of wages on a Friday or Saturday. The problem was so bad that the Salvation Army opened a chapel and did a lot of very good work, persuading people to become teetotal (to abstain from alcohol completely).

Things are actually a lot better now than they were then.

Years ago when beer was 'weak beer' it did less harm. These days, beer is a lot stronger.  It's still cheap to make and good profit for brewers, whilst the government takes a hefty share of the price in excise duty.  But people get drunk more easily and more quickly with the stuff that's sold today.

The harm that alcohol does, in causing people to fight, abuse their bodies and damage social relations is well-known. But prohibition doesn't work.  And in places like Norway, where sales are strictly controlled and products are very expensive to buy, problems still exist, though perhaps not on the same scale.

Alcohol consumption is pleasurable in moderation and young people particularly have been encouraged by advertising and clever promotional activities to see going out to bars and pubs as an acceptable social activity in which it is possible to meet s*x partners for one-night stands, and even make friends with people who last a bit longer - long enough to marry and divorce.  Alcohol and s*x is a potent combination - the fact that the s*x can be a big disappointment is just a side effect. Alcohol, like cigarrettes, lower social inhibitions - and it can be argued that Britis need alcohol as a lubricant to ease social interactions they might otherwise find more difficult - Brits are noted for their reserve.

For some reason, social drinking among young people in the UK isn't the same as social drinking in other countries, where it is more often associated with the experience of eating out with friends and the conversation that goes with it.

So, yes, we have a problem - it's not necessarily worse than that of other countries, but it is more visible. It would be completely wrong to think that we have a great problem of uncontrolled drinking - but we do have a problem and it's is too common to see young men and women legless on a Saturday night.

One of these days, local councils, government and the brewing industry will realise that cheap alcohol is not as good as for society as linking food and alcohol in settings that encourage more positive social interactions.  Changing behaviour is a complex and difficult thing to do - at the moment we're not really focussed on doing that - we're just trying to make sure it doesn't get worse.

Finally, have you ever considered how offensive it is to ordinary people to call yourself "Poofy K Unt" - it just isn't funny.  It tells me that even though you can use a computer and ask a question the level of your intellect is about as good as your spelling.  And that tells me that you actually have very little respect for yourself, your language and have probably not achieved very much in life - educationally disadvantaged poor you.

Thanks for changing your 'handle' - Respect.

  26. I'm Nigerian and I love the English. What a pity you didn't take the trouble to pay attention at school, you might have learnt how to spell.

  29. stop talking out of your ****.  We are certainly not all like that at all.  What if I said all black men were pimps?  You'd be whining about racial abuse, yet you're doing it

  30. not all english people cause trouble, if you think that then you obviously dont know many english people!
