Im just curious. Not trying to start an argument. But I was watching this documentary where the mother was homeschooling the son and she like, sneered at the idea of global warming...as if it in some way deeply offended her. I was just wondering why.

  1. This woman does not represent all Christians.  Some of us do have intelligence.

  2. Because,God said humans can never destroy their own race...as possible as it will look and seem..It will get that bad as it will almost be...and then thats when Armageddan happens. So God told humans a long time ago....dont fret over it,its not something to be anxious about.

  3. Many aren't.

"The Rev. Rich Cizik, public policy director for the National Association of Evangelicals, and Nobel-laureate Eric Chivian, director of the Center for Health and the Global Environment at Harvard Medical School, were among 28 signers of a statement that demands urgent changes in values, lifestyles and public policies to avert disastrous changes in climate."

"Concerned about what they see as a moral and biblical issue, religious groups from the right are joining with environmental organizations from the left in supporting strong measures to fight global warming.

Some Christian leaders are using the clout they have built up in Republican circles to lobby conservatives in Congress to support regulations on greenhouse-gas emissions.

"When evangelicals speak, Republicans listen," said Richard Cizik, vice president of government affairs for the National Association of Evangelicals. "And Republicans, frankly, are listening to what we're saying."

For many religious groups, global warming isn't a political or environmental issue. It's a threat to God's creation."

  4. It has nothing to do with being and Evangelical Christian, or being home schooled.  It's all about thinking for yourself, doing your research, using common sense, and not following the crowd like cattle.

Just because you keep hearing something is true, doesn't make it so.

We are not causing global warming, but I do like to breathe clean air.

  5. Because one Christian woman doesn't believe in global warming you assume its some wacky Christian thing? That's very bigoted and intolerant of you. What if I heard a black person say they don't believe in global warming and I asked "Why do blacks not believe in global warming?" You would call me a stupid racist.

  6. I don't remember all my friends bieng against global warming so maybe a minority don't believe in it or something. But i dont believe in it and i like to preach and preach about the good news and preach the good weather too!
