  1. Judging from the article, it's because more of them choose to be apprentice hairdressers than apprentice mechanics.

Mechanics earn more than hairdressers, just as lawyers earn more than shop assistants. If they want to earn more, they should become mechanics rather than hairdressers.

  2. Male models in the p**n industry do all the work yet get paid almost nothing compared to female models.

I don't hear any feminists taking up the charge to equalize this industry.  Grow up.

  3. maybe they are less skilled.

  4. Sexism

  5. Nurses make approx $60k around here and business degrees are around $45k.

They can put that in their cherry-picking article.

Only suggestion I have is that the next time people get their haircut, let them know that you are willing to pay double for your haircuts.

Nuclear techs have same education as paralegals, but make double...   many examples of differences.

Edit: So hairstyling and automotive repair is the same industry(comparisons in the article)? You sound like you don't even know what your own question is about. (what the article was about). Perhaps you need to re-read your article.

Edit: The examples in the article are only comparable by length of education. Otherwise, hairdressing and auto repair are just as random and unrelated. My examples were by education exactly(nuclear tech and paralegal is 2 yrs, nurse and business degree are 4 years...). I have gone to plenty of years to university. What I'm stating honestly shouldn't be that difficult to comprehend.

  6. Male conceit.
