Why are ferrari's seen as the best car?

I have always wondered why is the Ferrari seen as the ultimate car? I mean sure it looks nice but from what ive heard they can only fit two people inside them, they break down so much that they are off the road more often than on and so expensive that tyres cost about $1000 each is this true and if so why would anyone see it as the ultimate car and not as a big expensive waste of money?

Ferrari has been in Formula One for 60+ years. If you can build a Formula One Car you can build a road a road car.

They are the fastest.

There's only one factory, so even though you can get same models, they are almost exclusive.

By watching F1, you can totally see they have the best technology.
