Why are flights so expensive during October?

International flights seem to cost a lot during October than any other months. Does anyone know why is it so?

  1. Disagree.  Flights to the US are cheaper in October than at Christmas, around Thanksgiving or over the summer.  This October will be higher than previous years because of the rise in fuel costs and because the airlines are cutting out flights.


  2. i think that in October they already  start  raising the prices to Christmas
