If everyone continues to pay these high prices, they will continue to climb.  We must all strike and not drive for a week.  That would drop the price of gas.......

It's because oil is trading for record high prices per barrel..  I think we're up to $120 a barrel as of yesterday.

Because of the dumb-asses that blew up the oil refinery or the oil rig.

The price of gas is based on supply and demand. High supply and low demand = low price. Low supply and high demand = High price.

The weak dollar doesn't help. Oil is priced in dollars, no matter where in the world it comes from, producers want higher prices to maintain their incomes.
