Why are gasoline prices at the pump as high as I have ever seen them?

...Even though the price of crude oil is as low as it has been in more than 7 weeks.....

I get the "oil in the underground tanks" thing were gasoline was purchased at a given price and must be sold occordingly, but it never works that way when crude goes up. The pump prices rises the very day crude price jumps are announced.

  1. they have dropped 45 cents a gallon here and going down daily


  2. because the government wants more money for themselves so the keep on saying that we are running out of fossil fuels
