Why are gender differences in leadership style referred to as cultural differences?

  1. because culture defines the gender role.


  2. Maybe because there is a culture of femininity and a culture of masculinity?

  3. Because what is expected of men or women varies from culture to culture.  Some cultures would have difficulty even imagining a woman in a position of leadership, and would find your question irrelevant, similar to "Why do purple hot dogs not speak Swahili?"

    (Not being mean, just throwing out an example, lol.)

    Even then, cultural differences may mean that a man in the USA would act differently than, say, a male Chinese leader.

    Just my opinion.
