Why are girls all of a sudden wearing peace signs everywhere?

at school i notice them all over like on there shirts, purses, necklaces, it is kind of weird, this sudden surge of peace?

They smoke pot and wear peace signs because it is trendy.

Being green is in.

it turns out that 85% of those girls know nothing of current events,

and would never think twice about changing our world for the better.

they think that wearing a big shirt with a peace sign on it and saying that they listen to john lennon and bob marley makes them wonderful people.

political opinions such as recycling, global warming, ect are being made into a fashion through shirts, accessories, bags, ect.its the latest fashion trend.most  dont really care though.

It depends on who you are talking about? I have begun wearing peace signs because if you haven't noticed the country we are living in is in the middle of a war and I have friends and loved ones fighting in Iraq for a cause they don't even believe in. They support our country so that is forcing them to kill for an unjustified cause. Peace is a mystical thing that we would all like to believe is possible and personally I hope for it everyday. Human nature shall never let it happen but isn't a positive of people to be running around with peace signs and spreading a good message instead of guns?
