Girls are not smarter. Boys just have more distractions. We are hyper at that age, full of testesterone & have better & more fun things to do than study.

However females are considered less productive in the work place. You take a lot of time off for maternity & u get these pains every month that have u doing hardly any work...

Also males are stronger & have less attitude & cause less distractions & do not turn small matters into big problems. In fact, the guys are more relaxed & fun loving.

Females have a lot of rights & they uses them to get away with a lot of c**p.

Girls tend to focus more in school and therefore achieve higher marks.  

Wages or salaries are determined by what type of job you are performing, how good you are at it, and most importantly how valuable you are.  Many jobs are inherently more risky or labor-intensive for which workers are rewarded, and many of these jobs (especially ones requiring physical labor, such as mining, construction, etc) are dominated by men which is why surveys reflect a higher income for men.  But at the same time, women have and are penetrating every level of corporate management that was previously culturally reserved for men (and still is very much so in a lot of countries).  A lot of women make more money than I ever will, and we should be thankful we live in a place where that's possible.

In the end there may be a question of gender equality in the workplace, but it's so much more complicated than that.  The differences between men and women exist on all sorts of levels including emotional, intellectual, communicatory, physical, and otherwise, and all of them are taken into account in how effective someone can be at their job.  

So like I said, it's not whether you're male or female but how extraordinarly you perform at the career that you choose.

I think your question is flawed, but I'll say it's because boys goof off more in school, and they are able to use that to their advantage later when they can be more relaxed and self confident in workplace affairs, and are rewarded.

If you're saying boys (by that time commonly referred to as "men") make more than similarly trained women in the same job, well, that's simply because they are men. Many CEO's of companies feel that if a man is hired straight out of college, he is more likely to stick around than a woman is. Statistically, women leave their careers much more often than men do, to raise a family when the time comes, so the higher-ups tend to feel that a man is a little bit better an "investment" than a woman is. In individual cases, I don't know if it's that the higher-ups are just sexist (I think many of them are... they know they've always been able to pay women less and they can continue to do so) or if they actually consider this half-****** idea to be a justifiable reason to pay women less than men in the early stages of a career.

But I do not think it's fair to say that girls are smarter than boys in school. I clearly remember geometry, and I'm tellin ya, not a boy in my class had trouble with that subject, but even the most intelligent, well-spoken girls were barely holding on to their D+.

girls are not always smarter and they don't always make more money.They might have a bit more luck when looking for a job because most jobs want big strong men. And maybe girls are a little smarter in school because while girls are in the books boys are playing video games and sports.

Well, my opinion is that Girls are more down to earth and less active through out school.  Boys are just like "whatever, this is stupid, where's the money?"  When it finally gets time to make the money they go for higher paying jobs like "CEO" and women go for more honorable jobs like "teacher".  On top of that since women enter school they are looked at as not as math savvy and therefore look at them selves that way (the self fulfilling prophecy).   THEN when it comes to jobs that involve math, women already think they can't do that.

p.s.  For all you equal rights anti-stereotypical people out there.  when i say "men", "boys", "girls", and "woman"  I mean the majority..As in There is a stereotype for a reason, usually because it applies to  the majority of that group, NOT because EVERY ONE falls into this category, however most do.  :-P
