  1. One more thing is your water temperature.  If your machine has a preheat setting see if it makes a difference.  We have noticed that some dishwashing detergents - notably the solids, will leave a residue if the water temperature is too low.


  2. As others have said, you probably have hard water. Pour some white vinegar into the rinse aid dispenser- it works as a great rinse aid because it breaks down the minerals that cause the white stains. It leaves a great shine on the dishes.

    If you don't have a rinse aid dispenser, you can add 1 tsp. borax into the detergent compartment along with your soap. It is a great water softener.

  3. Make sure all of your filters are cleaned and clear, but most of all as suggested you need to use a rinse aid and a simple one is to use some white vinegar as it will help get rid of the mineral deposits or white stuff on your glasses, this should leave them nice and shiny


  4. Because you have 'hard' water, with a high mineral content. Most dishwashers have a place in the door where you can add a 'rinse aid' that'll help the water sheet off the glasses.
