  1. because of their digestive system humans have big digestive systemand itd msde from plant.

    Interesting, I did not know they were. My dogs eat them from the vine in the yard if they can reach them and I give them to them as a treat. No ill effects. By some accounts I just read raisins are worse and it would take 2 1/2 pounds of fresh grapes to have a bad effect on an 80 pound dog.  

  3. i don't know why grapes are poisonous to dogs, but what i do know is that even when my dog found a grape, he smelled it and just walked away from it... i have researched this topic but scientists still dont know why dogs are allergic to grapes/raisins... especially in large quantities, they can be painfully fatal (kidney failure is involved i believe)... just keep them away from ur dog is all i can say...
