Question:

Why are high school/college graduates always put on the spot?

I hear graduates all the time being questioned, what are you going to do? Have you found a job yet? Aren't you going to further your education? These poor kids get this over and over and the truth is I don't think people realize the conditions of the USA. If they had the money or the funding was tremendously available, they would continue school. If there was plenty of jobs out there, then they would be working. People act like you are some lazy loser if you don't have anything right after graduation. My kids were able to go to community colleges, thanks to the federal/state governments and it took them three months just to find ordinary jobs and some of them were just part-time. We were happy, but others would say things like "What a waste!" Please encourage graduates instead of discouraging them!

  1. We have so much pressure we need encouragement.  I will be graduating from college in May and I'm so scared.  It's so hard to get a job nowadays.  Some of my friends that graduated this may are still looking for jobs.  It sucks!!!
