Why are high school skater kids mean and arrogant ?

I go to high school and I have a best friend who is openly g*y. He’s really cool and I love him. I hang out with 4 other girls and this guy. We are all cool with each other though. But there are these skater kids (we’re in the 11th grade) who are the same age as us and they are so mean to him just because he’s g*y. These skater kids are so rude and they think they’re all that. I feel so sad for my friend who gets insulted everyday. He acts as if he doesn’t care what the skater kids tell him but I care! Why are these skater kids so immature with their tight pants, graphic tees, skate shoes, and boards? One time my friend got jumped by them after school. Luckily, my friends and I saw so we went to go help him. But I was really ruff; I scratched this guy all over his face. He couldn’t come to school for two days. I was really glad when he came back his face was monstrous. This guy is basically the leading guy of the “skaters.” Anyway, my friend is living a horrible high school life because these guys are always stealing things from him. Even the skater girlfriends don’t like him. One time she pushed him and I saw so I smacked her across her face. These b*****s think they are so cool! Why is this?

uh. i think its just the ones at your school. the ones at my school were cool, nice, and fun. they never caused any problem or anything. my ex boyfriend was one lol.so, i think its just the guy you are talking about or something.

You know I hella get what you mean. They are just immature and have nothing better to do. Its probably their way to prove their masculentiy, they probably suck at skating and do it just for the looks. Yeah, its not all skaters cuz I'm g*y and my friends and I used to hang out at the skate park. It really is just the immature rotten bunch that ruin for the rest. They are total wannabes, congrads for slapping those jerks. It really is them trying to act cool, but they aren't hardcore or anything. Your friend is lucky for having a good friend like you!
