Why are iPods so expensive?

Compared to normal mp3 players they are expensive. Why is this?

  1. Because they are top - of - the - range and stylish + thin (depending on which ipod you get) simple to use (relatively) and very good sound quality


  2. The new Ipods are in color, can connect to internet, hold written files and so on....they are in high demand

    The iPods could also be in high demand, and knowing Apple, they make the price higher.

  5. They're expensive because of the "bandwagon" that seems to be floating around them. People want them because other people have them. Personally, I can't stand iPods. I bought an mp3 player for less, that has more features and memory than any iPod in it's price range. I have wireless head phones for my mp3 player. There is no iPod that offers that.
