  1. Not all are. Some are cylindrical with a wider cup at the top and a stem with a smaller diameter.


  2. becuase if they were broad the whole image and delight wouldn't be as good lol- because its conveinient

  3. cause no one would buy an ice cream square, or ice cream circle.  

    The original idea was that to have a quick way of serving ice cream not be messy and not use "paper plates". A great idea (google to find out who) was thought up to use a freshly baked pastry, fill with ice cream and roll so the customer could hold on to it. A waffle design was used because the raised lines gaver the pastry strength. A cone design was used to help as the cone self supported the weight of the ice cream.
