Why are implants needed?

I got an implant a year and a half ago. It wasn't 100% necessary but I felt it was a better alternative. One of the main reasons was the tooth was one of my canines and is used and stressed during everyday eating.

My other alternative was a bridge and I felt that would fail after a few years.

With an implant, a s***w is put directly into the jaw sometime after that, the false tooth is secured to the s***w.

It is expensive (my insurance didn't cover any of it), but I feel good about the longevity of the tooth.

Breast Cancer sometimes causes women to get a Mastecotomy or the removal of Breast Tissue so they do not die of Breast Cancer, Now there are small Hysterectomy which only take out a portion of the tissue (hysterectomy-Removal of the tissue). But if the cancer has spread they need all the tissue in the breast removed, well this is quiet disfiguring as you can imagine so many women get breast implants so they do not look well disfigured. It is not exactly needed but many doctors suggest it for women who have had mastectomies.

Other women get it to look younger and feel better about themselves, either way it makes them happy.

Teeth Implants are for looking better, though not needed they help some people cope with having teeth missing, also they are a solution to other alternative problems. Umm... Sorry for such a wierd post.

THESE ARE NOT NEEDED, BUT WANTED BY THOSE WHO WANT TO REPLACE MISSING TEETH AND DON'T WANT TO RUIN GOOD TEETH BY PLACING BRIDGES.

I'm sure that was no pun. Don't do it. There is nothing attractive about a big ___. I do not understand why any woman on earth would want to act or be or look like her. The time will come when you will love your bottom as it is. LOL. Would you want others to be attracted to YOU or some jell inserted into you cheeks? Bad idea.
