  1. Every breath you take, every move you make, the greens will be watching you.

Global warming may or may not be due to human activity. Global warming theory as is being presented is nothing but a scam, an attempt by Green fascists to gain political power. The Greens can't get political power unless they convince you to believe in their agenda. Their agenda is to turn out the lights of knowledge and have people freeze in the darkness of ignorance. Keeping people in the dark encourages ignorance and makes 'em easier to lead around by the nose.

It still makes sense to reduce your impact on the earth but not for the global warming rational.

  2. Everyone is involved. Everyone has choices about consuming electricity, and about using wood or coal for fires. For instance slash and burn agriculture is still practiced in some parts of the world. This contributes to global warming as well.

  3. Amen to that brother. It doesn't matter how much plastic wrap i save and re use when there are huge factories that produce more CO2 in a day than i will in a decade. Not that it matters, anyway. The earth's temperature has always fluctuated and always will. I don't know why people are freaking out!

  4. I was unaware "big companies" affect solar cycles.

  5. Do you drive?  For every gallon consumed, you're putting pounds of carbon into the atmosphere.  Do you grow your own garden, raise your own chickens?  Probably not so much that you don't have to go to the grocery store periodically.  There is plenty of blame to go around on this one.  Solutions that even begin to dent the situation are going to involve all fronts.

We only have the one planet.  It's time to stop fouling the nest.

  6. Remember it is we who vote with our dollars. Unfortunately people are stuck on the most immediately inexpensive option as well as what they know and is convenient.

I do agree though there needs to be higher accountability of fossil fuel, timber, and other industries that contribute to global warming. I believe this should be in the form of taxation that will be put into programs that will offset their damages plus ultimately help put in place already available clean energy technologies such as wind, wave, solar, geothermal, and some biofuels (i.e switchgrass and jatropha, not corn) .

I do understand and sympathize with what you are saying but it really needs to be both. Without the environmental interests being firmly rooted in our conscious beings (only by walking the walk not just talking about it) can we as the people put enough pressure on the government and the companies to institute real change.

  7. In market economies it's the choice of the consumer which ultimately decides how big (and small) companies runs their businesses.

Sure, governments can force companies to take some responsibility by regulations, but it's our choice what companies we want to do business with and if we want to benefit "good" or "bad" company policies.

  8. Who is pestering you?  I've never been pestered about Global Warming.  What an odd and unsusual thing!

  9. Because everything that you do contributes. act stupid about this and you will wish someday that you weren't so stupid.
