Why are intelligent women who know their rights and won't put up with disrespect often described as "B---'s"?

"Intelligent" women should have an assertive way, not an aggressive way of expressing their rights. This assertive way will give them the respect they want. Being aggressive will only get them called the "B" word.

Because some people still expect women to behave as in generations past...submissive and subservient.

...and because some women are b*tches and don't express themselves well or politely. A person can be confident, intelligent, and strong and make a good impression or come off like an azz. There are women who think they have to act b*thcy to be respected, or feared else they may get walked over.
