because fishermen uses nets to catch tuna , crab, etc and sometime the turtles get caught in the net

However, I believe the problem is the name.  The turtle are so embarrassed over their name that the don't hang out at turtle bars any longer for hook-ups.  Also, E-Harmony doesn't have a sea-going reptile category.
