I am a Liberal becuase I believe people should be able to do as they please as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else or animal or the enivornment. whats so bad about that? why should some right wing nut like Palin tell me how to live my life? am I wrong?

Why do Rebups bark about values and morals, yet disown their own for being g*y, or  married to an "other" ? Why are Rebups against abortion, yet are cool with Capital Punishment? Why do they push lower taxes, yet support war?

This is the stupidist question I've seen.

Liberals are supposed to be against family values, but Obama is married to his first wife and McCain divorced his first wife to marry a multi-millionaire. Conservatives beat up Hillary for standing by her husband, but cruise the airport bathrooms.

Morals; let's torture people. Don't worry, their not Americans, so it's alright.

Lower Taxes; Let's just do like the deadbeats, put it on the charge card. Now every man woman and child in America owes $31,000 (mostly to the Chinese or Saudis).

Look in your mirror if your looking for "against" the above.

As far as lower taxes go, the majority of Americans will see lower taxes under Obama.

Now, as far as the first two items: why do conservatives believe they alone can define Family Values and morals?

Is it a family value to tell two people who love each other and are committed to each other, that their relationship is not valid in the eyes of the law?

Would true morals allow our public education system continue to be grossly underfunded as American students continue to perform worse and worse when compared to the rest of the world?

Is it truly moral for the wealthiest nation in the history of the world to turn away sick people without medical insurance?

I could go on and on, but I won't.

What I will not let you do is suggest that your "family values" or "morals" are superior to mine.

We all want what is best for this country, even though we might not agree on what "best" means.

The simple fact that I disagree with you does not mean I don't have values or morals.

Because liberal Democrats are basically socialists. They want to take away your hard earned paycheck and give it to some bum that doesn't like to work and stays home to play video games all day. Their thinking is that you have too much and the other person has too little. You are selfish and need to learn to share. Of course, this doesn't apply to the rich Dems who have off shore accounts and shelter their high incomes.

Liberals are not against family values, they just think that the government is better at setting values than families.  After all families are responsible for making babies, and that is so bad for the environment.

Liberals are not against morals, well, just your morals.  They believe that rich people are immoral.  They believe the disparity between rich and poor is immoral.  They believe that oil companies are immoral.  They believet that anyone who has a different opinion is immoral.. and you're immoral too.

Lower Taxes...  Of course liberals are for lower taxes.  Lower taxes for the poor and "middle class", and soak the rich and the corporations.  I know that top 5% of income earners pay 90% of our taxes, but that isn't enough because they are still rich..  Taxes will not be fair until all the rich people and corporations are just as poor as the rest of us.  

See, liberals do have their values.
