  1. There are NO fair and balanced news organizations including FOX, NBC, ABC,CBS, or CNN. They are either privately owned  and controlled by their owners or a board of directors, which will slant a news story one way or the other and only report the stories that they find of interest. Just by looking at your question it shows me that you are already brainwashed by clear channel communications and the Fox network. Also it looks like you need to get off the computer and receive an education, since you obviously can't spell.

  2. They must be worried, if you see from most YA post, the liberals hear are the biggest listneters.....

I guess they thank them for the ratings.....(Air America is bummed and bankrupt)

Just as CNN's credibility ratings have fallen, ratings for the major broadcast networks have declined as well. NBC News, ABC News and CBS News are rated about equally in terms of believability by the public. Among those able to rate NBC News, 24% find the network highly credible, down from a high of 30% in 1998. ABC News has followed an similar pattern: 24% view it as highly believable, compared with 31% in 1996. And CBS News has moved from 32% who saw it as believable in 1996 to 24% today.

  3. Most people who scream about how evil Fox News is have probably never even watched it.They just believe whatever Huffington post, Kos, and such tell them.

  4. Who's scared. Fixnews is not balanced or scary.

Come to think of it Rush is kinda scary in a contagion way.

  5. No, because they are not really fair & balanced.  They are heavily slanted to the right and claim to be fair & balanced by counter-balancing all of the percieved leftist slant they see in other media.  Libs don't like being interviewed by Fox News and Rush Limbaugh because they do not like being cut-off before making their point and insulted by slanderous rumor-mongering.  Besides, those two are not real news sources; they seem more intent in outraging their audiences than informing them.

  6. Dems seem to not be tolerant even though they preach being tolerant.

  7. Crack is the drug of choice, the right is given an opinion, nothing is fair,God word is truth.

  8. Because they don't know that there are two sides to every story... and as much as I hate the Bush bashing (and no I am not saying he is the best president EVER, I just respect him as a leader... i was brought up to do that... ) I still watch the Communist New Network (CNN) to get the other side of the story...

  9. to use fair and balanced, and fox news in the same sentence is scary.

rush Limbaugh.bill oreiley, ann coulter are the most are dangerous because their opinion is treated as fact.it is biased opinion only.

  10. Bela Pelosi is giving the push to silence conservative talk radio through harassment and intimidation top priority, after Dennis Kookcinich first announced his intent to pursue it through the Government Reform Committee.

In other words, the Left’s dominance of the Drive By Media isn’t enough. Their inability to compete in the world of talk radio — see the failure of Dead Air America — is driving this, along with the desire to eliminate any counter to the Democrats’ propaganda and spin machine.

How would the (Un)Fairness Doctrine work? It wouldn’t declare such programming to be illegal but would rather open radio stations carrying a conservative program to provide upon request an equal amount of time to leftwing activists. For example, a local conservative host (e.g., Charlie Sykes, Mark Belling) talks about issues related to education from a right-wing perspective. Upon request from the local or state teachers’ union, that station would be required by law to provide an equal amount of time for the teachers’ union perspective.

Not wanting to deal with the hassle or provide programming no one would listen to and as such would not attract advertisers, the station would drop the original programming.

That’s how the (Un)Fairness Doctrine would silence free speech.

  11. Libs only want to hear their side of every story and they are completely intolerant of others viewpoints.

  12. They're just spoiled. Before FOX and the internet libs could get away with putting out their version only.  They can't see that both sides need to be presented for things to be fair.

  13. silly conservative, Freedom of Speech is for liberals

  14. Because 'fair and balanced' to liberals is only when a news channell speaks highly and favorably of democrats and liberals and no one else.

Just watch MSNBC and you'll see what I mean.

  15. Insecurity.

It's a "If you don't agree with them then they don't control you" kinda thing the far left has.

Differing opinions means that you are thinking for your self, and many (not all) on the left fear that.

It is almost this bizarre hive mentality that I have witnessed in a number of far left groups.

Mind you liberals who tend to be more moderate or conservative don't necessarily agree with the ones who bash Fox or Limbough, it's the obnoxiously loud far left ones that make people forget there are a number of rational people in the left.

I know many liberals who watch Fox or listen to Limbough and are reasonable, intelligent and polite people.  So we should not lump them all with the far left loonies who scream for freedom of speech but violently oppose anyone using that freedom to express something they disagree with.

  16. It has been admitted that FOX News  is "entertainment", not real news.

  17. No one is scared of it....we just call it like it is....right wing propaganda based on lies and deception.
