Question:

Why are local weather forecasts taking so long lately?

Is it necessary to have a weather forecast go on for 5 minutes or more. Does it really make a difference in your life that other areas in a 30 mile radius may be a degree or more warmer or colder than where you are? Do people really need to be told how to dress their kids for school by the weatherman? Good God, it's either hot or cold, raining or snowing or not. Is society becoming so stupid that the weather needs this much attention?

Sorry, venting here, but this stuff is getting to me.

  1. Ow.. i disagree with you.. i think weather forecast is very important.. you may not get any benefits of that.. but there is a lot of people who really need it. as an example farmer really needs that..

so is those who involved in a race or gambling such us for football etc.. sometimes they use weather forecast to choose what do they can bet on.

  2. Yeah, I agree.  The talking heads on TV take 20 minutes to say what they could say in 30 seconds, and we already know it anyway.

  3. Hi! Yes, I agree with you too. However, I'am not to happy with

the weather forcasters these days. MSN certainly cannot get

their lousely weather predectictions right. Nor can NOAA.

Last summer was so beastly hot and dry. And this year I'am

sure will be another repeat of last summer sadly. I'am glad

your not the ownly one griping about the weather.

This has been getting to me too. It seems like ever since we

had moved up to northeast Indiana. We have more sun and

less rain fall. One thing we have is plently of sunshine.

Even the local forecasters can get the weather. Just tired of

forecasters changing the forecast every 24 to 12 hours that

sucks!  Thanks for letting vent too. Just wanted to get this off

    my chest. Thank you!
