Why are man hole covers being stolen all over the USA by desperate people looking to sell then for $15 ?

i wasnt aware we had a man hole crisis but if i had to take a stab at it i would say its because........they are desperate people looking to sell them for $15, just a guess though.

Because the crooked scrap dealers will pay them $15.00.  We also have these despicable thieves raiding cemeteries and stealing the brass vases from the graves.

Any scrap dealer caught buying what is obviously stolen items should have their business confiscated and liquidated and the proceeds given to the cities and cemeteries to replace stolen items.
