Why are mcdonald's southern chicken sandwiches always fresh?

there has to be a catch to this because everything else i get is old and gross. are they half cooking them and then finishing them off when they are ordered? do the put butter on them? i think i taste butter. man they are too expensive.

  2. Nothing at McDonalds is "FRESH."  

    Second, they are frozen chicken... they are already pre-cooked and just heated when you order... (Or before hand, and they sit there for awhile under a warm light).

    My sister worked at McDonalds, as well as my younger brother.

  3. Nothing is "fresh" there.They just warm it up.And yeah,why are they so expensive?The combo meal is like $4.79 and the Big Mac is $4.89.

  4. haha i was just thinking about this and a friend of mine who works at Mc D's told me the southern chicken sandwich was basically a mc chicken with out the mayo and lettuce they just put pickles on it instead and put it in a box.
