I suppose because they have that sassy, conservative, " I mean serious business " look and it is a fun challenge to get them to break out of that shell and become a wild thing to lead from virtue into sin.

Humans are naturally attracted to symmetry. Adding rectangular glasses automatically adds more symmetry to your face, even if your eyes/nose etc. are a little off kilter because it draws the eyes into the symmetry of the shape.

Hm, maybe the glasses are covering the girl's face and the guy's curious to see what's under it? I don't know hehe.
