I need to show practical application of ecological issues, so any online examples of microclimates (natural or man made) and comments would be great too. Cheers

  1. Microclimates allow pockets of plants and animals survive in what would seasnally be an environment that is too harsh. It gives those plants and animals a better chance of long term survival. That boost in variety gives the ecosystem a little more stability.
