  1. People tend to be more comfortable with people that look like them. That is why when you are in middle school you tend get "different" friends than elementary school because it is a new environment.

  2. because blacks hate whites, and they outnumber them 5 to 1 in prison, so have an advantage.

  3. because you gotta root for the home team lol

  4. that is a different world.Within the last twenty to thirty years the gang violence has grown in and out. It's how one is looked upon when in the joint.Stick with your own ,or the probability is high that you will be in confrontations.Possibly by both. It's all in the click.

  5. For the same reasons people are segregated outside of prison.  We feel most comfortable with those who are like us.   We feel secure in numbers.  We speak the same language and have similar values to those who share our skin color or ethnicity or s*x.

  6. So that one gang doesnt outnumber other gangs. I.E. most blacks are gonna be either bloods or crips, mexicans are gonna either be nortenos or surenos or ms 13's n whatever, and whatever the gangs are for the whites.

So they dont want them all fighting each other because of their color basically.
