Also, they are often the source of discrimination--because they are profiled, many people don't give them jobs (the ones without a formal education).

when i have been to new york i noticed that a lot of the taxi drivers were italian... it's just that new york city is a melting pot of diversity and you have tons of people from all walks of life

plenty of people from another countries want to come to new york since it's one of the most famous cities in the world and it has a culture that is unlike most american cities
