Why are multiple browser windows opening up at once on my PC by themselves? Especially with Myspace?

I notice often that when I am on my myspace page or seldom other sites that my computer goes nuts and continues to open up the same page over and over again. Once it opened 26 browser windows at the same time and wouldn't stop until I keep clicking close group and shut the computer down. Each time I run the Windows Live One Care and if finds no spy-ware or viruses. Can someone tell me why this is happening?

it's doinq it to me too !! i hope myspace isn't messinq all of our computers up .

if you click the icon more than once because it is not responding, that will happen. check your enter button to make sure it isn't sticking also.

Cause Live One Care is junk get a real virus cleaner like Bitdefender.

make sure your pop up blocker is set to on, on your computer, & change your security settings to an higher level.

It sound like you have some kind of spyware/malware on your machine, you should try programs like ad-aware or spybot and you can also try windows defender.  These programs should clear the problem right up but sites like myspace will install malware as soon as you access it so if you use myspace a lot I would suggest that you run the above mentioned programs every week
