  1. ONE WORD FOR YA:: PETA FILES!!!

  2. because moms are always protective of their kids

  3. well let's see are you going with boyfriends or girlfriends and what kind of movie is it?

Because they remember what they used to do at the movie theatre

  4. I am considered as a kid (11 years old) still, not teenager nor a mum.....therefore, I m not biased to any side of the arguement. Let us say if i m a mum, I will be probably worried that my "teengaer" will watch a movie not suitable for teenagers, or even do something bad after the movie or during the movie. parents are like that. To tell you the truth, my mum won't even let me to go home by myself after school! I can understand my mum though- she thinks that I m very "blur" and accidents may happen as I need to cross the busy road, take a bus home....If I look at this question from a teengaer's point of view, I wil probably think that watching a movie is no big deal, I have my own freedom and rights, furthermore, I m not a "young kid" anymore.....

  5. bec. they care a lot.

  6. Because they know you are lying-- that you really want to go out and drink and do drugs and get pregnant.(because thats what they did, where do you think you came from anyway) next time just tell them that is what you are going to do and they will say ok, because you won't be lying.

they don't  like it when you lie

  7. Prevention is the best. What might be done very often cannot be undone later on and all of us will never be able to get rid of this terrible feeling of regretfulness for the rest of our lives.

  8. 1) They don't want to acknowledge the fact that you are growing up.They know that growing up sucks.

    2) They think that you are going to do something they won't approve of. (remember they played by different rules than you do)

    3) They are afraid that you aren't really going to a movie but a University Party and some 22 year old man is going to get you passed out drunk and take pictures of you and put them on the internet.

  9. Because they remember all the stupid things they did the minute they got a chance to escape parental supervision, and they know that you think you're WAY too smart to get into a jam, just like they thought they were, and they know there's no way anything except very painful experience can teach you otherwise, and they would rather cut their own arms off than see you suffer, but they can't stop you, so just GO AHEAD - go ahead and ruin your life, see if I care!!!

And you call me if you're going to be late!!!

    I MEAN IT!!!!

  10. I don't know about your mom, but my mom's not because she trusts me.  So maybe yours don't trust you.  I'm not sure.  You should talk to her about it.

  11. what kind of movie?  who are you going with?  are you sure, your friends are going there?  when will you be home?  how will you get there?  who will bring you home?   i still ask them now.. after all..We care about you..We love you..We want you safe.. and the last are..No beer..No drugs.. No partying.. No strangers.. :)  and the sad part.. is we know your answers..

  12. riff raff at the movies,or near..predators are everywhere, especially where young people meet.

  13. they are afraid that you might dine out instead of going to the movie

  14. It depends how old you are. Moms are just worried about the other people around you and not you. You need to demonstrate your responsiblity so she knows you will know what to do in a crisis situation. It also doesn't help that for all she knows you could be ditching the movie to do other , less wholesome, things

  15. You need to remember that you mum was once your age, who knows what experiences she might have had or heard that one of her friends might have had.  Watch the news, society has not gotten better in the last 10 years.  Your mum is just looking out for your well-being.  In 10 years, put yourself in your mum's shoes, you will probably be thinking the same way she is.  Food for thought.

  16. Remember when your older that you asked this question. You will soooo understand!

She's just scared because she won't be there to protect you.

  17. Moms only care about you and they don't want anything to happen to you.And there are alot of bad people in the world.

  18. What kind of a mom would we be if we weren't protective?

If you're at least 15, I'd let you go, otherwise, no.
