Fro, when a female works out she can get muscular. Culture looks down upon that. Why?

  1. You'd have to show me an example of what you mean.

Professional dancers, cheer leaders and many athletes are muscular and "Hot".

I'm going to guess you are talking about a woman who is fat and calling herself muscular.

The only women I've seen who are unattractive due to muscularity have been body builders on steroids.

  2. They're not.  Being butch and being buff are two different things

    Buff:

And I have a body very similar to this, and believe me ... I've never been considered unattractive to anyone; no matter race or age.  But I do get chased by many a men of different races and ages.  I've never heard it being looked down upon.  There's nothing unattractive about a woman who is fit and takes care of her body.

  3. Because muscular strength is more commonly associated with men, and therefore is not seen as particularly appealing in women.  Does this really come as a surprise to you?

  4. Because thats how a lot of men are and straight guys dont like touching other guys in a sexual way.

The female body most times is more softly shaped and curvy.

    Thats genetics not culture.

You wouldnt seen a girl hit puberty and look all ripped and muscular, but you would a guy.

EDIT-Yes but how natural is weight lifting to women? A women can work out thats just fine but if shes benching 200 pounds...thats not what you would call natural.

Answer mines if ya dont mind.

  5. I don't understand it myself because "soft" and "feminine" is often the same as being overweight and flabby. You don't get that way unless you are carrying excess pounds. Thin women often aren't soft either.

  6. From a mans prospective, most men are attracted to a soft, feminine woman.

Also, most men don't find themselves attractive to women who's bodies are similar to that of a man who is in top physical condition.

However, I wouldn't go as far as to say men don't respect women body builders. I maybe speaking for myself when I say this, but a lot of us men do admire the fact that these women are able to achieve a goal most men in society lack the discipline to even put fourth any effort into. As well, there are a lot of men who just don't have the genetics to make such an accomplishment possible.

  7. Because I don't need anyones strong, muscular arms holding me at night.

  8. Because our wonderful society teaches that women should be as small as possible?

And there's nothing wrong with butch women.

  9. Because men like to think that they are stronger, and don't want to be seen as weaker.

  10. Because society wants women to look one way and men to look another and they are supposed to be polar opposites so when a woman looks even a tiny bit "masculine" (i.e. tall, muscles, "masculine" clothes) she's labeled unattractive.

  11. Because most men don't like other men.

We prefer the hourglass structure in a female :).

  12. I don't like them...

It looks as ugly as a the guy who used steroids like h**l, and worked out 17 hours a day, it looks like a freak with veins and a mutant asymmetric mass of meat that looks like plastic.

    It's completely unnatural.

  13. we live in different times and that might be the case in the near future but in the past and still now it's not normal because women are still supposed to be feminine.  I love a woman with a soft body, slim, feminine features.  Up until recently, men were men and wore the pants.  Now women want to wear pants and guys are starting to run around in panties.  It's really twisted but it's not like that all over.  Only in america and lots of western countries have it.  I am from los angeles but i live in europe now and men are men and women are women and very similar roles as the old days.  I enjoy it better, people mesh better that way and marriages last longer cause values are passed down from generations and people have mutual understandings.  I think muscular women are  more dominant women and non-submissive women because, just like men, people want to appear strong on the outside to make themselves feel it on the inside....it's a total western concept.   Men will find that attractive and soon it will be normal for a woman to be the one with muscles and man to be the feminine one in the relationship.   Right now, that is still not normal and muscular women are still strange for the eye because that is still not accepted by society.  Homosexuality was not accepted by society until maybe the late 80's and 90's.  Before g*y people were really ashamed and people looked at them wierd.  Still, i think there is nothing wrong with muscular women but there is something wrong with the rugged mentality and the way that will reflect on how those women act.

  14. I don't think that's necessarily true.

Being buff is a COMEPLETELY different thing than being butch.

At one point the above girl was considered to have one of the best bodies in show business. She was definitely well toned and muscular.

I think as far as the physical body goes, most men want women who look like women. You can be well-toned, buff and muscular but still have curves and look feminine.

Most don't want a woman who looks like this http://easyjetinflight.com/images/2005/j...

It's all a matter of finding balance.

  15. Because womens flesh should be soft (not jiggly though) and smooth, not hard and bumby. So to thin or to muscular is just unattractive.

I dont wanna feel like im sticking my winkie in a pile of rocks.

  16. Because the things that make women attractive are signs that they're fertile. Softness, wide hips/small waists, full red lips, etc... Buff/butch women do not look fertile- hence not attractive.
