Why are my 2 cats acting weird and crazy?

My 2 cats recently have been acting nuts. The one cat (actually still a kitten) runs around acting nuts, but I thought that was normal since he was a kitten but one night he woke me up and was drooling terribly and kept moving around. The other cat is older and is also running around crazy and recently she has an eye infection and has been peeing in the house right in front of us which she has never done before. Both of the cats go outside but we have another cat that basically lives outside but she is fine... what is wrong with them?

  1. Well, I'm not entirely an expert on cats, but it could be the time of the year where cats like to "mate".  My cat always acts weird around that time.  I also have some cats living in my shed, and they began to make unusual noises one night.  Mum said it was just "mating season".  My cat would also be quiet, which is weird for him, because he meows frequently.  He also ran out of the house when the front door was open, and he never does that.

So I think it has to do with the time of year...

  2. take them to a vet if they're outside cats they can pic up anything you didn't say if they had there shots! that doesn't sound normal to me! And I've had hundred of cats fosters and as a breeder!

  3. If your cat hasn't had its shots for rabies, distemper ... I would go to the vet and tell them the symptoms. If your cat does have rabies and bites you hard enough to break the skin your going to need shots that hurt really bad.

  4. My cat drools rarley it is fine. But if it is excessive you may want to ask not go to a vet (CALL). The Other one may be pregnant or it means that you need to clean out your litter box because it is too full.

    Hope this helped{-)

  5. Is there anything new in the house that they're getting into?  Any paint or chemicals or anything?  I would ask your vet for advice.
