  1. The truth is that one of them wants to be the alpha male and the other one won't let them hence they fight a ton. I think that they will eventually calm down and they'll calm down, but if they don't calm down in a couple weeks then i suggest giving one away, sorry

  2. I wish that all cats would stop fighting!!!

Last night, these cats had a huge catfight a 2:30 in the morning and one of them musta got hurt becuz the only thing i heard for an hour was like a hurt cat meowing..it was so annoying!!!

well this doesnt really answer ur question but i just thought it was a strange coincidence.

maybe you should try to separate your two cats or take them to a vet to see if they have anger problems.....

can cats even have anger problems???

    lol kind of just brainstorming.

    hope this helps

  3. Males have testostandrogentrogene, like females, but more testosteronen. Maybe one cat has more testosterone and has been fighting with the other and so the other is forced to fight back as defense. Or they could both have more testosterone. With Beta fish, you cannot put two males in the same tank or one will end up dying (sometimes even both) because they fight. Your situation seems similar.

  4. They are likely trying to gain the dominant role in the family.  Likely they are both naturally dominant and will not give up the fight.  My only suggestion is that if they continue to fight that you find one of them a good home.  you can place an ad in your local papers describing the cat and why you have to give him up and that he can go free to a good home with no other male cats.

  5. they dont like each othere, they need time to get to know each othere but still keep them a far apart from each other

  6. At any given point in their lives, cats can decide they need to be only children and violently object to the presense of other cats.

No matter what their previous relationship was and with NO warning.

This attitude change is usually permanent.

You can manage the behavior, but chances are, they'll never be friends again.

    Try:

Feeding them at the same time, in different rooms.

    Praise good behavior.

Nix catnip.  You don't need anymore drama.

Allow for territories.  They'll naturally pick their territories.  Don't force them out of their comfort zones.

2 litter boxes are a must.  3 might be better.

    Good luck

  7. they both want to be the alpha male.....and they will fight until one becomes alpha....its gonna be okay they will eventually get over it

  8. don't keep them in the house all day.  let them outside to blow off some steam.  they are all wound up because they are confined all day.  Plus let them know you are the boss and won't tolerate fighting.

  9. You shouldn't get rid of them.  It's like siblings.... if they fight, you can't get rid of them, no matter how crazy they drive you!  Be careful when you interevene.  You could get scratched up really badly too.

  10. their both male cats and trying to be the dominant one. usually with cats you have one dominant one and one less dominant, but in your case you have two and their trying to scare or hurt each other to be the alpha male.

  11. haha they sound like mine ^^

they fight all day :) their just playing

Nemo (my cat) growls at (Oscar) my other one if the other one has his favourite toy in his mouth. even when nemo does have the toy in his mouth he still growls.

    its quite amusing

  12. you need to be the alpha male.

get a water gun and spray the one that starts the aggression.

i used it on a my cat (one was aggressive the other submissive).

now the aggressivee one lickss the submissive one when i am watching.

    funny.

"you see i am good, don't spray me"

  13. Jealousy,

  14. My cats sort of do the same thing.  It seems your cats hate each other!
