Why are my Guppies eating the other fish?

My guppies keep chasing our other fish and they have actually killed and eaten a few! Is this normal? Help!

  1. this is not normal are you sure these are guppies? if I were you I would return them to the fish store or buy another tank to keep them. speaking of tanks what size is yours and how many guppies do you have


  2. What is the s*x ratio (males to females)? How large is the tank? Too many male Guppies, without enough females (3 females/male), will cause the males to harass the other fish. It sounds like you have an overcrowded tank.

  3. the only reason my fish tried to go after the other fish, is because i forgot to feed them.. but,, guppies?  if they are..

  4. territorial behavior and food as natural as it gets sorry.
