I have two Rose bushes in Pots ( I rent so couldn't plant in the yard) One had 3 roses bloom. The other only has 1 rose bloom. I cut them before they wilted just below 5 leaves like my book said. But I havnt had a single flower since (3 weeks ago). I just planted them in Feb kept them indoors until it warmed now they are on my porch. One of them has brown tips on the leaves so I sprayed with a disease/insect control spray. Can anyone help me?

  1. Are they getting enough sun? Roses need at least 6 to 10 hours of sun. If you have to move them to a sunnier spot.

Water them thoroughly once a week. Make sure you don't leave them in standing water. If you have them in trays put some rocks under the pots to keep them from standing in water. I like river rocks for that .

Fertilize them with rose fertilizer or 10-10-10 fertilizer once a month, I would not fertilize now wait until you think they are healthy.

I don't like to use any commercial sprays.

I use a few drops of dish detergent the cheap kind with 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in a spray bottle shake and spray.
