Why are my Yahoo Groups getting strange "verification" messages? Is this a scam?

I've had a few members of groups I manage tell me they received this kind of message. Is this a phishing scam or something?

has been just received by yahoogroups.com mailserver.

This sounds a lot like a phishing scam.  I would recommend reporting it to the Yahoo Groups representatives.  To get a hold of them go to: http://help.yahoo.com and click on &quot;Groups&quot; and then look for a section that says something like &quot;Contact Us&quot; and look for the section that says, &quot;Requires a Reply&quot; or something similar and then put in the information the thing shown above.
