I have set all my Yahoo group email preferences to a gmail account. The messages are going to my gmail account fine, however duplicate messages are ALSO going into my yahoo account! So I'm getting the same messages in two different accounts. I can't figure out how to make my messages ONLY go to the gmail account. Any help? TIA...

  1. It could be caused if your primary email within your Yahoo account and the one selected in your "My Groups" are different.

You should check if your Gmail addy is set as the Primary account in your Yahoo account..

    Sign in anywhere on Yahoo.

At top of page, click on "My Account"

Look In the Member Information area, you will see Yahoo! Mail Address, Alternate Email.  If your Gmail address is not listed as your alternate

Email, you should Click "Edit" located to the far right of Member Information.

Under "Email Informaton", add your Gmail address as Alternate Email.

Click "Finished at top right of page.

Now watch for a Yahoo verification email to come to your Gmail address.

You should read it thoroughly and follow any instructions if given.

If you have already done that OR after you do the above, you should go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups?o=2&edi...

and check what addresses you have selected for sending group message to.  Use the drop down arrows to select what address to send

messages to for each group you belong to.

    When finished, click Save Changes.

  2. Have you tried unsubscribing from the email address you do not want?
