This year is my first time planting bell pepper plants. I planted outside from seed. My three plants are almost 2 feet tall but have no flowers. They are extremely healthy. Why are they not blooming? What can I do to expedite the maturity of my plants before the season is over? I live in Chicago and winter comes soon! Help!

  1. Try some Miracle Grow. That should help. I'm sorry that I don't have anything else to say. Maybe you just have a dud package... D=

  2. I'm in chicago too---my plant just started blooming last week.

  3. hard to say there are several factors. peppers take about 60-70 days to mature. are they in pots? are they in direct sunlight? if you are using any products to help with blooming you could be using too much and have too much nitrogen in the plants causing them to look health but not bloom. keep plenty of water and lots of sun. mine are looking great in texas.
