  1. and have you remove the wheel and look i bet you wil find the pads are about gone.. only take five minute to look at pads

  2. what type of car do you have it prablably needs a brake realignment

  3. Remove the wheels & inspect.  The pad wear indicators are rubbing on the rotors.

  4. Because they need changed, also check your brake rotors this will cause your brakes to go bad.

  5. THAT SQUEAKING IS PROBABLY YOUR BRAKE PAD WARNING SIGN THAT USSUALLY DOES THIS WHEN YOUR BRAKES GET LOW THERE IS A LITTLE PIECE OF MEDAL ON YOUR PADS THAT WHEN THEY GET TO LOW THIS WILL RUB ON YOUR ROTORS TO WARN YOU OF LOW PADS HURRY AND CHANGE YOUR PADS IF YOU CONTINUE TO DRIVE ON THEM THEY WILL RUIN YOUR BRAKE ROTORS AS WELL AS PADS COST MORE MONEY  CHANGE NOW

  6. Good answers above, but also look the make sure the brakes are being released, that the calipers are not sticking in the closed position. Also the look at rust along the slidding surfaces this will also prevent them from returning to the open position.
