I got my first cat Ziggy 3 weeks ago,

and then I got his brother Barney 2 weeks later.

Now all they do is fight, I'm assuming its over territory but they're brothers, don't they remember each other?

  1. jealousy

  2. I think it is the reason call animals as animals. You know everyone in world is not very peaceful or calm.Sometimes even we don't care about our sisters or brothers. So i think this condition also like this.

I think that is very serious because That can be dangerous for their lives.

I suggest you please lookafter them very carefuly.I also think they will stop that fighting when they grow up.

Don't think they are bother. because they peforme a part of humane life.

  3. Interesting question.  I will tell you what the vet told me when my two boys go at it.  "If you don't see blood, don't worry"  What we humans percieve as "fighting" is usually just the way cats "play" with one another.  They love to rough and tumble and make the most harrowing noised so that we think they are killing each other when they are just playing.  So, unless you see them bleeding, just let them be and figure they will wear themselves out eventually.

  4. This is part of their cat life just watch and make sure they dont get to rough.

  5. they are stupid, and just don't like each other.

  6. maybe they are playing, but maybe they have some isuess in cat life, who know maybe ask an expert about that

BUT MAYBE THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU GOT THEM AT DIFFRENT TIMES SO WHEN ONE GOT HAPPY WITH HIS OWNER, YOU BROTH HIS BROTHER AND NOW ZIGGY DOESN'T WANT HIM THER CAUSE HE IS SELFWISH

  7. They might remember each other, but even if they are brothers they are going to fight over the territory. Leave the fighting for now, but if it gets very seriously i would suggest going to the vets or something, and see if he has a solution,
