i should be in the swing of everything now, ive had my period for three years. my 'anniversary' of having my period will be on halloween of this year. so ive been having them for three years now.

the first two years went by okay, normal stuff like backaches, blood(yuck), headache, bitchiness, and fatigue.

my second to last period was horrible.

i was not sick.

i had a fever, cramps, nausea, headache, backache, fatigue, and loads of bitchiness. the next day and a half later, i had my period.

i know i wasnt sick because there was no possible way for me to have been in contact with anything.

my last period was the same.

now this period, i should be starting in 2 days, or even tomorrow.

i have stomach cramps, backache, no fever, a tad bit of nausea, heartburn, and im starting to get crabby.

my question is, why are the cramps getting worse?

i refuse, and so does my mom, to go to the gyno, im only 15 years old, for the first two years, my period were just normal.

now they are like how i just said, but the blood flow is alot worse.

is this how my periods are supposed to be?

and why are they getting worse?

sorry for the long statement!

thanks evryone!

  1. Severe period pains should always be investigated to check for a treatable cause. As a rough guide, if you've had severe period pain (known as dysmenorrhoea) since around the time your periods first started, it's less likely a particular cause will be found.

There are exceptions to this. Conditions such as endometriosis can sometimes cause severe pain from an early age (although the pain typically gets worse as the disease does more damage with each monthly cycle). Other causes include fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease and sometimes a narrowing of the cervix. Bear in mind, though, that period pains are rarely a sign of disease, especially in younger women.

If the pain interferes with your life, preventing you from going to school or coping with daily tasks, I would recommend you consult with a doctor for further evaluation.  They won't need to perform a pelvic examination, they would just need to run some tests and do some investigations as to what could be causing your period cramping.

    Good luck :)
