Question:

Why are my creme brulee candles coming away from the jars when i make them?

after putting the just poured candles in the oven an they set. they dont totally stick to the sides of the jars. i do not understand why? what am i missing? what can i do to prevent this. the holidays are on there way an i want to make candles, but not ugly ones! lol

  1. Failure to stick to the sides evenly usually results

    from bubbles. Are you sure you're doing everything to prevent them. i.e. proper temperature, pouring slowly and evenly, (fast pour makes bubbles) making sure the wax is entirely melted. Also, you could be causing a temperature change in the  side of the glass if you handle the jar as you put it in the oven. 'Hope this helps.
