Question:

Why are my dreams set up like movies???

All of my dreams act like movies. I really don't watch many movies, but my dreams are exactly like them! Here are a few examples:

In a dream where I was being chased by an assasin, it flashes out to where he's sharpening his knives.

I see my enemies plotting against me, but my dream-self doesn't know what they're plotting even though my conscious does. Dramatic Irony, I suppose

I go in slow motion alot, when drama's happening.

That and other things that I can't seem to recall. Why is this??

  1. Either you have been watching movies before you went to sleep or thinking about movies right before you fall asleep but to dream that you are playing a role in the movie, foretells that something from your unconscious is about to emerge or be revealed. It may also represent memories of images or scenes from your past. Alternatively, the dream may be pointing you toward a new role that you might be undertaking. Your unconscious is psychologically preparing you for this new role.

  2. Your life is not the happiest one and you are stress ab out your future and friends are not always there for you ; but you are trying hard to get things better

  3. Wow, I wish my dreams were like that! Then when I sleep I can be entertained :P just kidding. But tha is kind of cool. I don't know why your dreams are like this, but do you enjoy it? :) If you do, Yay! But if not, don't pick me for best answer bc I didn't help at all! LOL!

    Good luck!

  4. Right away, do you feel authentic or true to yourself? Role-playing is an indicator of escapism (movies as fantasy worlds) and the capacity of doing flashbacks or time-delay is a wish for a director's control of the movie-as- life. Fine.

This is a creative approach to handling the limitations of reality, but is an artifice that can't cope with reality's demands. Time to get real with all that tacky stuff- you'll thank me later.
