Why are my dreams so realistic?

Whenever I have any dream whether its during the night, during a nap, or just when I doze off for a few minutes they are always really realistic. I know usually dreams are silly or weird things happen that could never happen in real life, but my dreams are always something that is real and that could happen. When I wake up I really think they did happen until I realize it was a dream. What does this mean?

This does not mean a thing....dreams are what we have experienced either through our day, or something we experienced a few weeks back.

The actual dream may not be exactly what happened but break them down and all parts of a dream have a meaning, and somehow our brain being the best computer in the world, puts it altogether to make it all seem real.
