Why are my eyes swollen two days after crying?

It is Saturday morning right now. I cried a lot on Thursday night and my eye was a bit swollen on Friday morning but it went away. But today (Saturday) it's swollen again! I could feel that bruised feeling on Friday night, but I don't know why this is happening. Some explanations about why my eye is still swollen and solutions for what I should do about it would help me. =) thanks.

To much sodium in our diet along with ,caffeine  alcohol contributes to swollen eyes and there is also a genetic predisposition.

Try covering your  eyes with a cold  damp wash cloth, that will help the swelling go down.

This happened to my gf after a family.....happening.  She just waited it out w/ ice.

A little cream will reduce it- any type is good.  Just dont get it in the eyes.

could you possibly have a sty? check if theres a slight red bumb on either eye. sty's usually give that bruised feeling.
