  1. have you check the ph or ammonia level? bring a sample to a pet store, they will check it for free. if you put to much food in there, there is going to be a lot of a ammonia. they only need to be fed once a day. and i have all cichlids.

  2. what kind of fish are they? have they always acted this way?

  3. idk...fish always seem to do that...die!!!!

but fish do live very short lives so..

just feed it well and remember to clean their tank as well as not leave any soap in it!!!!!!!!

  4. nothing if they are new they are still in shock and if they are constantly agitated they WILL die or not move

  5. make sure all water temperature and chemistry levels are fine and then dont bother tham at all because this will stress the fish.

if it is new fish then they are probably not settles to your tank yet

also not all fish are active some just float there most of the time such as angelfish.

also all fishes need to rest alot so thats what they prob are doing. make sure you keep your light on during the day and evening and make sure you turn them off at night inorder for the fish to rest so the have energy to move around during the day.

feeding them 2-3 time a day also promotes them to move around more often 1 to get foos and 2 for them to get energy in their bodies

    hope this helps  good luck

  6. my fish use to do the same thing, sitting more often than normal..I started taking out a little tank water and presoaking their fish flakes. And Id feed them boiled peas once in a while (if you try this, remember to take off the skin, breaking it into smaller pieces helps too). it doesn't make sense to me because presoaking food helps prevent swim bladder disease (they swim upside down or have a hard time swimming downwards), and the peas help if they're constipated...so it shouldnt help them sitting...? idk whatever happened stopped them from sitting lol

  7. you need to give more details, is the tank clean?  Is the PH level correct? What kind of fish do you have?  To answer this question correctly you need to give more details.  Also, how long have you had the fish?

  8. They might be sleeping because my fish dont move while sleeping. Also if they are eating properly that means they are fine. dont worry
