Why are my fish scratching them self's??

on all the rock and plants i no for a fact they don't have white spot i don't understand what is going on

  2. this can be an early sign of ich/white spot before the spots show themselves, it can also be the sign of other parasites such as velvet. see if you can shine a torch on them without startling them, they will usually highlight any problems.

    Both these parasitic problems stem from the fish being stressed either through overstocking, water quality problems, incompatibility or a combination of all 3. parasites can also be introduced with new fish that haven't been quarantined.
