I have a lot of mollie fish, they have all been in the tank for at least 6 months. Many were born in my tank. However in the last 2-3 days, all of the males are 'gangin up on" one female, she seemes very stressed, and I finally pulled her out and put her in a babies breader to protect her from them, well today I put her back and when i looked in the tank 5 males had her cornered in corner of the tank and were all trying to bread with her, I have about 8 females total. I dont understand why this just started happening. Never happened before Please explain. After the first tiem when I pulled her out she looked almost dead, but after a few days perked up again.

  1. Well, human guys all like the pretty girls with big b***s and leave the fat chicks alone. Your molly is probably the fish version of a supermodel. The others are ugly, but I'm sure they have great personalities.

  2. She could be the best choice for reproduction. Males tend to compete for the best of the best when it comes for fish. She could just be really fertile. If you're super worried about her then keep her seperated.

  3. She is the tanks top model. All the males want her, but personally, I don't think she's all that. LOL
