Why are my mpeg videos poor quality when i burn them to DVD?

Im putting videos(mpeg)that i download from limewire on to a DVD using EASY MEDIA CREATOR 10..but for some reason the quality isnt very good..it actually looks like the video is a little bigger then the t.v screen...the quality is excellent when i play it on windows media player..it just looks blury and to big when i out it on DVD..why does it do that?ive also tried other DVD creating programs and get the same results....is there a setting that needs to be changed?like i said the quality is excellent when i use a media player on my cpu so i know the quality is originally good..its just when i put it on dvd.can you help?why does it do that?..i know its not the dvd creating software...it must be the settings

I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, on windows, never had a problem!

It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

OK try this - 16x disc burn at 8x and 8x disc burn at 4x

I use convertxtodvd at it is great, can't say more than that really.
